The email address is required. A second quick way of getting hold of someone has to be there as well – a phone number is the usual one.
VAT
VAT identification number under section 27a of the German VAT Act: [VAT ID]
This is only required if such a number has been issued. If there is none, the section simply goes – a note about small-business status belongs on the invoice, not here.
What is still open
- Legal form and register. If RankT becomes a company, the register court, the registration number and the names of the authorised representatives come in here. While it is one person, the name above is all there is to give.
- Supervisory authority and professional rules. Both concern licensed and chamber-bound professions. As things stand, neither applies to a ranking board in a pub; no lawyer has checked that yet.
- Dispute resolution. There is deliberately no statement here. The old duty to link to the EU online dispute resolution platform ended when that platform was shut down, and which consumer arbitration body, if any, has to be named in future depends on how RankT is billed.
What this page is not for

The German version above is the one that applies. This English one is a translation for understanding, not a separate declaration.
